Matthew Jessup
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor
Matthew started in the financial planning industry in August 1999 with UBS Financial Services. He majored in financial services and graduated from Wright State University in 2004. After college, he started to build his client base, learning the wealth management business from the ground up. In November 2009, he separated from UBS and founded Jessup Wealth Management in Oakwood, Ohio.
Matthew resides in Oakwood with his wife, Rachel; sons, Rowen and Micah; and daughter, Evelyn. Matt and his family attend Church of the Cross in Kettering and has been active on several nonprofit boards over the years, including the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton, Human Race Theatre, Dayton Art Institute’s Planned Giving Council, and Oakwood City Schools Foundation. Matthew has been recognized by Commonwealth as a Chairman's Level advisor in 2021 and 2022* and has also been named a Five Star Wealth Manager** in Cincinnati Magazine. Matthew was named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40*** and Emerging Leaders lists in 2020. Matthew has been most recently honored as Forbes' Best-In-State Wealth Advisors**** for 2022. At the office, Matthew is usually accompanied by his dog Louis.

Mark McEvily
Chief Investment Officer, Managing Partner and Wealth Advisor
Mark is the second managing partner to join the firm, doing so in the fall of 2015. Originally from Rochester, New York, Mark moved to the Midwest to study finance at the University of Dayton, where he met his wife, Kenzie. While a student, Mark helped manage the Flyer Investment Fund, a $22 million fund of the university’s endowment, as the consumer staples and discretionary analyst. In the summer of 2015, he worked for Charles Schwab in Phoenix, Arizona, at an elite RIA program, where he was one of 11 selected out of 150+ applicants. Mark stays active in the community by meeting with student business organizations at the University of Dayton. He is a member of Holy Angels Church and sits on the Board of Directors at Dayton Country Club. Mark was recently recognized in the Dayton Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Awards for 2022*
Mark has a twin brother, who lives in Columbus, Ohio, and a younger brother, who attends the University of Dayton. Sports have always been a major part of Mark’s life, and he still enjoys them today. He played ice hockey and golf throughout high school and joined the club golf team at the University of Dayton for a year. He still enjoys playing golf and watching sports during his free time, especially the Buffalo Sabres and the Washington Commanders. Mark and Kenzie enjoy traveling, testing out new recipes in the kitchen with their favorite wines, and playing with their basset hound, Maple. The couple is expecting a baby girl, Mia, in August 2023.

Nick Whitaker
Director of Research
Nick joined Jessup Wealth Management in April of 2021. He made the move from Raleigh, North Carolina to Dayton, Ohio to be our Director of Finance. Nick graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina in Business Administration. Nick already has extensive experience in our field. He held the titles of Global Markets Intelligence- Lead Analyst and Senior Associate since gradutation. In 2014, before he got his official start in the industry, Nick interned with us at JWM. We are ecstatic to have him on as a full-time employee. Nick’s interests include: guitar, health and fitness, basketball and soccer.

Aaron Cramer
Wealth Advisor, CFP® Professional
Aaron joined Jessup Wealth Management as an intern in June 2017, the summer after his sophomore year at Miami University. He graduated from the Farmer School of Business, where he studied finance. While at Miami University, Aaron was one of 40 students to participate in Miami’s Wall Street Week program. During this program, Aaron was able to work with Miami alumni and see the inner workings of the New York Stock Exchange. *Aaron is now the firm's first CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Aaron is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and enjoys playing guitar, fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife, Michaela, and their dog, Jasper, a Great Pyrenees mix and Pig-Pen, a Shepard mix.

Taylor Ledbetter
Wealth Advisor, Paraplanner
Taylor joined the Jessup Wealth Management team in July 2020 as a financial planning intern. In 2021, she graduated from Wright State University with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Services and Accounting. Taylor also has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Sinclair Community College. While at Wright State, Taylor was directly involved in Wright State’s Finance Club, serving as one of the board members. Taylor and a few other board members held fundraisers to take a class trip to New York. While there, she experienced the New York Stock Exchange, Bloomberg, Market Axess, and other financial institutions. Before working at Jessup, Taylor held a seasonal tax internship for the 2020 tax season. Taylor currently resides in Beavercreek, Ohio, with her boyfriend, Andrew. She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, lifting, and hanging out with family and friends.

Sarah Grant
Customer Service Associate
Sarah joined Jessup Wealth Management’s team in March of 2020 as a receptionist and worked her way up to her current position as a Client Service Associate. Prior to working at JWM, Sarah was an office leader at a local gymnastics center, where she still works as the competitive gymnastics team coach. Along with coaching at a local gymnastics club, Sarah is also the assistant coach for the Centerville High School Gymnastics team. In May of 2018, Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University majoring in Middle Childhood Education. Sarah grew up in Centerville but currently resides in New Lebanon with her husband, Andrew, and her two black cats, Slim and Phoebe. Sarah enjoys coaching, shopping, learning new things, visiting local coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

Megan Manta
Customer Service Associate
Megan became part of the Jessup Wealth Management team in December 2020 as a Client Service Associate. She graduated in 2019 from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in General Business. Megan was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana (Go Irish), as the youngest of four. Megan married her high school sweetheart, Mario, in 2022 and soon after The Mantas made their move to Houston, Texas with their Aussie girl, Bee. Megan is JWM’s first remote employee! While she misses the Dayton office, she is very excited to remain a part of the JWM team. She loves all things glitter and the color pink. Megan enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, shoes, fountain sodas, and Chipotle.
Jenna Rittenhouse
Director of Marketing
Jenna joined Jessup Wealth Management in July 2020 after graduating from Wilmington College with a Bachelor's Degree in Equine Business Management. Jenna also has an Associate’s Degree in Human Nutrition/Dietetics from Sinclair Community College. Jenna has previously worked as an equine barn manager, veterinary assistant, and dance teacher. Jenna grew up in Bellbrook, Ohio, and currently resides in Miamisburg, Ohio with her boyfriend, Elijah. She enjoys dancing, traveling, playing with her dogs, Bamboo and Penny, and training her horse, Fiona.

Kellie Bauman
Executive Assistant
Kellie has been close with the Jessup Wealth Management team since 2017 and was given the official title of Executive Assistant to the CIO, Mark McEvily, in 2021. Kellie’s role also includes managing the companies expenses and budget . Prior to working with Jessup Wealth Management, Kellie was a licensed Insurance Agent who helped individuals with their Medicare and Private Health Insurance policies. Kellie lives in Cincinnati with her husband, Brett, her step-sons; Edison & Elliott and their two dogs, Cash and Coco. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, reading, playing with her dogs and spending as much time as possible with her husband and two boys!
Nicole Knoblach
Executive Assistant
Nicole joined the Jessup Wealth Management team in April of 2022 as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Matthew Jessup. Prior to working with Jessup Wealth Management, Nicole owned and operated two salons, and was a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems; where she received extensive training on business management, public speaking, and customer service. Nicole currently resides in Centerville with her son, Landon; Sphynx cat, Sir Harold; and French Bulldog, Caroline. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, riding motorcycles, being outdoors, and watching baseball.

Ben Mathile
Financial Planning Intern
My name is Ben Mathile; I have lived in Dayton, Ohio, all my life. I went to grade school in Vandalia, Ohio, then attended a high school in Dayton called Chaminade Julienne. I attended the University of Dayton, where I am a rising Junior. My major in progress at the University of Dayton is Finance, and my interest is wealth management. This summer, I spent time interning under my Dad. With him, I invested my own money, worked with private equity opportunities, and studied Python, a coding software used in finance. I love sports, exercise, and family, and look forward to this opportunity with JWM.
